Fungi related Pneumonia?

Hello!
I went to the doc a few days after my off and on 101 fever went away. She told me I had had the flu. It has been the worst flu I've ever had. The fever has been gone 2 days and left in it's place a terrible cough and occasionally coughing up phlegm. And I started to get a fever again this evening. right now it's at 100.4. Anyway, could this be the onset of pneumonia or bronchitis?
On a random side note, my friends guest room where i was storing my stuff this summer was flooded and my mattress got moldy. I tried some deep cleaning home stuff and have been sleeping on it since. is there any sickness that i could get, i felt like i cleaned it pretty good?
