Have a fever for 2 weeks now...

I have a fever on and off for 2 weeks and 3 days now, i had a cdc blood test(normal) and hiv antibody blood test(negative). i have taken antibiotics (azithromycin) this week. The doctor did some diagnostic; for example hearing the back of my lungs, my heart.
and they said it was the cold/ or flu. I haven't been sneezing, sinus, or running nose. I had a check my temperature few times in the doctor's and it's normal, the highest i got was 99.3 degrees farenheit. My body feels cold for the pass two weeks; it easily feels cold. When i feel little cold, i get little head light.

During the wait period or my HIV test i was very very scared for the past 3 days( i couldn't sleep or eat much)

I am only 21, i don't know why am i sick for this long?

I wanted to know does the antibiotics weaken my body for a period or time?
(thats why i feel cold.)

I want to know does my mind play a role or this because i'm scared and paranoid? and get me sick more easily.

A Zpack (azithromycin) is a good broad-spectrum antibiotic and should have killed bacteria.  That's why they think it's a virus.  The antibiotics don't make your body weak.

Yes, the mind plays a large role in making us feel weak when we are afraid and paranoid, especially when waiting for the results of a serious disease like HIV.

I'd talk to your doctor more about your worries, they can reassure you.
