I want to know the effective way to get rid of Coughing

Hi, I been having a flu for almost a month now. And coughing really terrible that keep me awake at night time.  I have been taking nite Theraflu, Robitussin and  Delsym the cough suppreqsant. But the cough doesn't get any better. Any good reccommend that I can do to stop them. Thanks

stand in your bathroom with the shower and sink running at the hottest you can get it and just breath at first you may cough but it will feel better and wont be dry and if you smoke stop

I had a really bad cough about 3 years ago. I hacked day and night.  The doctor prescribed me Mucinex DM. It helped me.
