Is it a sinus infection?

For the past week and a half I have been sick. When it first started my nose constantly ran. It later turned into a painful sinus headache. Yellow and sometimes green mucous occured after a few days. No fever occured. Recently i've been feeling ups and downs with it. At times I feel fine with just a cough and occasionally nose running, at other times, I have nausea, a sinus headache, coughing from the mucous accumulating in my lungs, lethargy, and a possible fever. Will this go away on its own or should I see a doctor? It is a sinus infection or just a cold?

Yellow and green mucous is a sign of a bacterial infection. If you still have jawpain or aches in sinus areas after this long I would see a doctor and it will quickly be determined if you need antibiotics. A fever would not be common after this long if it was only a virus infection and the aches are much more noticeable compared to an ordinary cold.
