About two weeks ago, I started getting a fever and headaches. My dad told me to start taking Amoclan antibiotics but I wasn't taking them every 12 hours so the process didn't work. I tried taking them again but properly this time but it still wasn't working. I also took brufen for the fever. I went to see a doctor and I was diagnosed with a severe case of tonsillitis. He could observe white pus at the back of my throat. Apparently, I became resistant to the antibiotic because I didn't take it properly the first time (and i also can;t swallow pills so I would crush them and take them with water). He prescribed me Zinnat, panadol cold & flu, and toplexil. I checked with my university health center and a pharmacist if it was okay that the pill is dissolving in my mouth as I'm trying to swallow it. They all told me it's okay and the pill will still be effective. I'm also taking panadol cold&flu but the sachets, and I'm also gargling salted water. It's day 4 and the fever, headaches, and white pus at the back of my throat are gone. However, my throat is still sore and I still feel like there's something at the back of my throat. The side of my mouth also hurts as well. Is it possible that my tonsils are swollen and the infection is spreading?
