Is it still Bronchitis?

Hi. I was diagnosed with a severe case of bronchitis July 9th. Dr expressed concerns of it being a bacterial infection since I had had the cough for so long already.
He prescribed the following 3 meds for me: a z-pack, cough syrup with codeine, & prednisone. I took my meds everyday & never missed any dosages. By this past Tuesday, July 14th, but by Thursday, July 16th I felt terrible again. Nausea, exhaustion, dizziness, no appetite, fever, phlegm, but a very bad cough has returned again that sounds almost like high winds blowing through a slightly open window....like when someone laughs so hard you just hear that whistley howl that they do....and chest feels heavy & burns when I breathe & especially after I cough.
What can this be? Did my bronchitis not go away or did it morph into something else??

I forgot, I have upset stomach, achey body, & diarrhea this time round too. I didn't have some of these symptoms just last week, prior to Wednesday. I had a heavy phlegmy cough, horrible headaches, slight fever, & a sore back & chest from all the coughing. My upset stomach began on Wednesday this week.
