Problems breathing, no feaver. Throat problem?

About a week ago, I started getting sick. I just woke up one morning, and started coughing up tons of Thick White Phlegm.I was perfectly fine the night before.. The day after it started getting more and more progressive. It started only being a morning and night thing. For the first Three/four days i would get tons of white thick phlegm in the morning and at night, and my throat would be extremely soar, no fever, just painful to swallow but again, during the day all symptoms would stop. Then it started progressing into a deep horse cough. My voice has now since become extremely deep, my throat is soar but  at night, and in the morning the pain is almost unbearable. As of last night i started having respiratory problems. I had to sleep sitting up because if i laid down or even leaned forward i would cough uncontrollably. My lungs feel fine, they don't hurt at all and  im not wheezing or anything. The scary part though was when i went to class today(nuclear med tech) , we have a pulse oximeter and i grabbed it from out of the cupboard cause i was feeling weird, and just from walking from my car to the class room my bpm was 120 and my o2 was 95%  what concerns me is im healthy/fit 24 years old, i exercise frequently. My bpm is always high 50s low 60s w/ 100% O2. I sat down in class to see if the machine was working correctly, my bpm went down to 75 after about 30 minutes. I then stood back up and within seconds it shot back up to 120 and my o2 varied from 90-95%. When i breath i feel like im not getting enough air,  it also feels like im breathing in a lot of dust altho im not.  My throat is now soar all the time.I   continue to cough up thick white phlegm that now has a green tinge to it, all day.My voice is extremely deep yet clear. When i try to take full breaths i just keep coughing, if i lay down/ learn forward i cant stop coughing.
cough drops and throat sprays seem to make it harder to breath, and make my throat itch.
i have no insurance so im working on seeing a doctor, if it gets bad enough ill go to the ER. I just figured someone might have some input before it gets worse..Im starting to lose alot of sleep...

I have no fever
No lung pain or soreness
I dont wheeze or have that sticky lung sensation.
My muscles feel fine their not soar no fatigue
no change in eating habits
I feel like i have SOB yet the o2 meter says i have plenty O2?
extremely soar throat w/ phlegm.
