Really bad throat?

So I had a really bad throat when I was on holiday about 4 weeks ago, it only lasted a week and went away itself. When I'd come back from my holiday I got a really bad throat again. I couldn't swollow because the pain was so bad, my glands we really swollen. I went to see the doctor and she said I had an infection so she gave me antibiotics which I had to take for 10 days. And it worked, my sore throat was gone. This was about 2 weeks ago. Yesterday at night I felt my throat aching again and this morning my throat was swollen again. I couldn't swollow. I decided to look inside my mouth to see how swollen it was and I couldn't see much so I used my phones flashlight. There's yellow steaks at the back of my throat and yellow on my tonsils, I also have a few large spots at the back of my throat too. I just want to know what it is and how I can stop it from coming, it's really annoying me and I want it to stop.
