I appreciate the response. Although my worries have gone done a lot. I am still very anxious to know why my body can't fight this or is struggling to fight this. I'm telling you I'm a strong kid and I know when my body is under attack, I never ever felt such fatigue and melaise before. I've been sick with flus and cold before I can handle those without a problem. But what freaked me out was the way I was feeling inside. Not in my head. But in my blood. I couldn't function and still am struggling to. Someone just sent me an email wondering if I had possible exposure to a tick bite Lyme disease). Very rare possibility but there could be a slight chance bc I lived with two dogs (was watching my uncles dog for the month who travels to RI frequently even though I live in NY). Although my gf got sick (not as bad with the melaise and fatigue though).
My throaty and mouth werent a big issue before now it is because I wake up and everyday something new is wrong inside of it. Monday I'll try and get a throat culture done and maybe a urine test because I've been peeing very frequently. My head still isn't right and it aches/swells making it difficult to think.
None of that is in my head. Worriedmatt was a name I used for pOssible HiV scare that everyone believed to be a zero to minimal risk factor so I kind of moved on from that.
Thanks for the message, thoughts?
You used the correct username....Matt it really sounds like you are having some moderate generalized anxiety.
First, if there was a germ infecting your throat, causing it to coat your tongue it would be able to be cultured by a doctor. If it was a serious virus or a blood-borne infection (not a chance), there are certain markers a standard CBC blood test would indicate showing something was awry.
I think, most importantly, you need to look up "generalized anxiety" on Wiki or Google. You are driving yourself nuts. What's really going on in your life that you "should" be worrying about? This "freaking out" over what sounds like a simple cold/flu must be diverting your attention from something you don't want to think about.
Secondly, it's not uncommon to get a "flu" bug that will leave a person feeling crappy for a month or so. And...it's also not uncommon to have some weird reactions to these super-powerful antibiotics.
Be honest with yourself about your anxiety level, see a different Dr. to calm your fears, and if you are still freaked out...think about seeing somebody about the anxiety....anxiety is miserable; it causes stomach aches, worry, chest pain, headaches, diarrhea, and general "freaking out". They have stuff that can help that so you can get back to yourself again.
