Sinus and Eye Pain

For the past few days I have been experiencing some pretty sharp pain behind my right eye.  I have all of the classic symptoms of sinus (been a sinus sufferer for over 18 years).  I just do not recall having eye pain that lasts for several days. I also see flashes of lights.  Dont know what else to say except that I am very uncomfortable.  Has anyone else with sinus ever felt this before?  I also notice that whenever I leave the house with wet hair in cold weather I get forehead and eye pain
