Sore Throat And Neck.

I am a 19 year old female. The past couple of days, it hurts to swallow and on both sides of my neck, the glands are achy.  I have no clue why my body is doing this but, i really hate it. And i kind of think it has something to do with me getting my tongue pierced. One day after i got this done, is when i started to feel this way. I would very much appreciate it if you can reply to me. Thank you.

It could be the beginning of an infection.  There is definitely something that your body does not like.  The bacteria is affecting your tonsils? If you think it is the piercing, it probably is.  Try gargling with salt water and see if it gets better.  If it gets worse, I would get rid of the piercing.  One more thing you can try is go to the health food store, one that sells homeopathic remedies, and buy hepar sulph calc. Take it twice a day for three days.  If there is an infection, you will start to feel better after the first day.  If there is no change at all after one day, then lose the piercing or see a doctor, or both.

It may or may not have to do with your piercing, but If I where you I'd be check my tonsils for strep throat.
