Strep Thoat Yes or No?

I came down with a really bad sore throat on Monday night.  My neck felt stiff and hurt along with the back of my throat.  The next day I was tired and later I got a mild fever for 24 hours off and on along with body aches. Today the fever is gone and the throat is still really sore to swallow and touch. I have a little nasal drainage going down the back of my throat but my nose is clear and I can breathe fine.  How long do I wait to go to the doctor?  Could it still be Strep if the fever is gone?
