I have had a cold or the flew for more then a week. I had been running a fever off and on during this time. I have been to the doctor and have been taking an antibiotic for three days of a five day cycle. I am still running a low fever at times could this mean this is a virus not a bacterial? My chest is still cogested but the color of the flem is not discolored. When should I see improvement?
after 3 days many friends of mine have gotten better from antibiotics if it was a bacterial infection, but stay miserable for a while if it's viral. clear phlegm is a good sign, since i thought that colored phlegm is more worrisome (but friends tell me that even colored phlegm can be viral). sounds like you should be feeling better by and bye
