Vaporizer or Humidifier?

Vaporizer or Humidifier?

Well...after successfully avoiding the cold/flu that's been going around for my entire month long class...it's here and has hit with a vengence.  The hardest part for me is having asthma that has yet to be gotten fullen under control...and it seems when the upper resp. stuff comes around, my asthma flares quickly.  I've been looking into vaporizers and humidifiers to see which would be beneficial, if at all.  I keep thinking that the humidifier might not be a good idea because it's cold...and asthma tends to flare in cold weather...any imput?

Viruses appear to thrive better in cold-dry atmospheres.  My 2 cents... humidifier and one with a sensor.
