If a Doctor tells you you got Mono after a throat swab and accessment of your physical condition, and takes a blood test before you leave, however never calls you back for your results, would it confirm you did have mono infact? Wouldnt he call if it weren't, for further testing or just to notify?

(The reason that I ask is because at 16 its what happend to me, a doctor told me I had mono and sent me home, I remember he told the nurse to take a blood test, and after they never called me. So I was stupid back then and never thought of returning to confirm what the test showed.)

I would think that it would mean you did not have mono. When I had it they wanted a follow up appointment to make sure all the swollen glands where going down.
