Years of sinus problems.

I have constant sinus problems that dont ever go away.   I've always had an allergy problem; but in the fall of 2006 it kicked hard, ..and never left, really.   I had surgery to remove polyps and infection in my sinuses in the Spring of 2007 and took allergy shots for about a year (then stopped); and everything was fine.  

The problems ended up coming back in the early spring of '09 and I went to see a different Doctor.   He put me on antibiotics and it cleared the problem up for a while; and we repeated this process about 4 times before I took x-rays and had a second surgery in August of '09 to once again remove the infection and polyps.   I started taking allergy shots at this Dr. office as well in the spring,  but I stopped after about 1 year because I saw no improvement what-so-ever.

the second surgery was 7 months ago (still taking allergy shots afterward), and Ive been back on antibiotics 3 times since then.   I cant keep taking those because I know their not good for me.  I have quite the list of antibiotics Ive been prescribed in the last 3 years and I really, really dont want to go back that route...again.    My last prescription was 3 weeks ago, and the problems have come back - yet I dont think it fully went away  to begin with.

I take Claritin, Mucinex and a nasal steroid spray every day.  I use the saline spray and the nasal wash everyday as well, ...but the problems just keep coming back and my allergies never go away.   Im going back to the Dr. tomorrow and Im going to tell him that none of this is working, and I *refuse* to get back on antibiotics again.   I know the infections come from the stopped up nasal passages due to my never ending allergies; but I wanted to see if I could get any other suggestions that could take my allergies away; or other possible solutions that I could talk to my Dr. about before I go back, ...because his answer is to put me back on antibiotics.    thanks!
