it is a viral upper respiritory track infection,it is self limited and a contagious illness. most viruses can cause a cold,try using cold and flu remedies to ease it,olbas oil drops to ease the blocked nose and time.

Actually, You know what causes colds? Its real simple actually and I cannot believe there isnt anything about it. Why don't people get colds in the summer? Now it can sometimes happen, but summer no colds. Winter colds. Can you relate as to why? It's real simple. You see in the summer there are plants everywhere thriving and growing, consuming all of the carbon dioxide in the air. In the winter there are no plants, so we end up with an over-abudance of carbon dioxide in the air and little amount of oxygen. Which in turn is what viruses thrive on as they hate oxygen. This winter relate in december and January as you will fell run down and tired. This is due to a drop in oxygen levels and a rise in carbon dioxide in the air. Our buddies the plants keep us healthy and when they aren't around we get sick. Think of them as nothing more than a carbon filter.

Now to help you get well this is what I did last year and didn't get sick once. I kept my body pumped full of garlic pills and vitamins. I didn't try oregano pills, but they should work. The garlic is the key. For preventative measures take a shot of your favorite alcohol at night as this will disinfect your throat from the days garbage you breathed and swallowed. Esiac tea also works as it will disinfect your body. Again, I did all of this for two winters so far and no sicky. I am doing this from now on. I am even going to grow plants in my house to give me more oxygen and so they can consume the co2 for me. Call me crazy, but I know I am right.
