headache, fever, nasal problems, mucus mixed with blood, sore throat.

I was sick last month. I had a fever, no headache, my nasal area was blocked and i had a large amount of phlegm when i coughed. After visiting the doctor i was told to consume a packet of antibiotics until the packet had finished. My nasal area still had problems, and kept persisting for a couple of weeks. About 3 days ago i woke up with the right side of my throat sore, it feels as though the gland is swollen, im not too sure. During the day i started to feel light headed and feelings of inside shivers. It sort of felt like a fever but i didn't heat up as I usually do. I slept through out the entire day and began to feel better. Next day i woke up with a heavy head ache, but only elevates when I do sudden movements. Woke up with body drenched in sweat. Inside shivers slightly dissapeared, feeling better than yesterday. At night time i began to feel horrible again and inside shivers began to elevate. 3rd day(today), increased nasal discharge, dry coughs. During entire night nasal discharge leaked down my throat, thick discharge that is. i can't blow my nose to get rid of it, only way is to breathe it down to my throat and spit it out. Blood mixed with nasal discharge(thick and dark), happened about 3 times. Other times blood was light like little speckle. Also other side of throat has became swollen. Less sensitive to the cold. Also I am a smoker but haven't had a cigarette for three days, which is from the day I began to get sick. Is this normall??? Im not sure if i want to re visit the doctor as i visited the doctor last month and she assured me i'd  be fine after consuming the packet of antibiotics. Do i have like some nasal infection???
