You have posted the same question 3 times in the same forum.  I have copied and pasted the answer I wrote a few days back.

A cold is not the same as a sinus infection.

If your mucus is clear and streaked with blood, it is likely that you have been blowing your nose too hard.  This sometimes can happen.

If your mucus is green or yellow, this usually indicates that there is an infection.

With sinus problems, you will feel very congested, you will have pain in your forehead area above your eyes, your cheek bones may hurt.  When these areas are pressed they will hurt.  Sometimes a sinus infection can cause pain in the back and roof of your mouth.  With sinus infections you will feel ill and generally under the weather.

If you have been green mucus a visit to doctor would be a good idea.  The doctor will then examine you and prescribe an antibiotic if he feels this is a bacterial infection.  Antibiotics will not help for viral infections.

You can do steam inhalations with Vick or Olbas Oil.  A hot bowl of water with or without the Vick or Olbas, and place your head covered with a towel over the bowl of steam.  Take care not to scald yourself.

You can also buy nose spray that can help decongest the nasal passages. Don't use these long term becasue they can make the situation worse.

Make sure you eat a healthy balanced diet and drink plenty of water.  Warm blackcurrant or a drink with honey and freshly squeezed lemon juice is good while you are congested will help.

Take multivitamins to help boost your immune system and plenty of fresh fruit.  As well as having exercise and good sleep can also make the immune system stronger.

Unfortunately virus and bacterial bugs cannot be avoided.  Even worse if people are sneezing and coughing all around.

It's not a disease or anything to be overly concerned about.  It's just that blowing your nose can cause a little trauma on mucus membranes inside the nose.  At night you might help it stay protected and moist by putting a bit of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) on a Q-Tip and putting a thin layer all inside each nostril.  This provides a lot of comfort.
