recurring flu/cold symptoms since thanksgiving...

I have been having this horrible recurring flu. started as a sore throat, then moved onto snotty yellow mucus, and finally went away after I left WDW on our Thanksgiving vacation. So, I just figured it ruined my vacation, but it's like the song goes "the cat came back, the very next day..." except sub COLD/FLU for CAT, and next day for THE NEXT MONTH!!!! I take into account that the weather has been more than erratic and i was beginning my monthly visitor, but jeeze!! I rarely contracted a cold in the last 5 years... and then this last one just WONT go away! The last installment seemed like it was gone after 3 days, but now it feels like I just got it again!  woke up 2 days ago with a sore throat and just thought, GREAT, maybe it's just allergies, BUT NO!! I took claritin and it's not working!!! (which usually does) and my nose is leaking like a civ. Is this the FLU BUG this year? or am I really facing some sort of serious health problem??

I am feeling the same ...this flu will not leave me alone..My niece say's there is something wrong with me.
Its 1 oclock in the morning by body aches and cant stop coughing.uggggggggggggg tired of this!!!

nope i have had it since oct 17th, still with me , its very hard to get over yes i feel good than it comes back, mine went into asthma like and ive never had asthma but i have wheezed for a month now so hang in there it will go when it gets tired hanging with you .

Ok, at least I can assume it's just the flu. first installment lasts a week, 2nd about 3 and a half days and so the 3rd about a week... The weather HAS been up and down... 40s 30s at night and 50s 60s during the day... that might have something to do with it.... lol.
if it comes back again, I will def see a doctor.

ugh thats how mine started. like a week ago i woke with a really sore throat. the next day same goes. the next day i could hardly breathe and my head was so congested and hurt. and could barely blow my nose so i was completely miserable. now its like my nose is a faucet and wont stop running. now my sore throats gone but i have a bad bad cough and yesterday my chest felt hallow almost and hurt to cough..today my body just hurts and my nose runs. my tonsils feel a little swollen too. idk what this is but everyone is getting it. mine just seems to have lasted longer. what IS this?
