spirometer and bronquitis

DEAR Doctor,
I have always been scared of emphysemia . I smoke 6 cigarettes a day.
I do get bronquitis, which results in weeze but the amoxil helps
My problem is... my friend was diagnosed with emphysemia yet she never gets a cold or flue and her lungs are always clear, YET  I get congested  chests and suffer from sinus and allergies . How can my friend have emphysemia that shows up on a  Xray and yet have a dry chest?she does not catch the flue and has not had one for many years and yet the xray shows avilola damage and inflated lungs. she has no symptoms
my results from a spirometer were great the doctor said
I was wondering if you could explain  them to me. I walk for one hour every night and have not missed a night in years . but i get weezy near jasmine an d smells get to me

stop smoking!

emphysema can weaken the lung tissue to make the alveoli balloon out and work poorly

you could be allergic to jasmine

ask your doctor about the interpretation of your pulmonary function tests since your FVC & FEV1 is elevated, these are abnormal
