voice change

after a serious cold and congestion bout i have noticed that my voice sounds nasally and sometimes gritty.also i have a cough produceing clear flim.i also still have nasal drainage in the back of my throat that has a bitter taste and sometimes smells foul.what could be the problem for my voice please ?

With all the drainage, congestion, and cough your throat is probably "raw". And the smell and bitter taste is probably from the infection that is going in which you can taste and smell because of the drainage and congestion. Maybe take a decongestant(for congestion) and antihistamine (for drainage and maybe cough). talk to your local pharmacist.
