what else could this be

by phillipsfam5, Nov 18, 2008 01:02PM
I had a cold that started about 8 days ago...it was the common cold, cough, sore throat a bit of a fever. I have been taking dayquil and nightquil and using cough drops. It seemed to make the sore throat and the fever go away but no the cough. My chest is real tight and everytime I try to breath I cough, but it is not a flemy cough, just a cough but I can't seem to make it go away....I'm constantly coughing due to my breathing and my voice is not normal, it's deep and raspy. Just wondering if this could be anything else because this is not the normal flemy cold cough.
