Anal Fistula

I have been fitted with a seton for my anal fistula, judging by what I have been reading and my doctors opinion to leave the seton in I think I'll leave everything as it is. Is this a good ideaand what is the long term outlook of having a seton in?

Hi,
Seton is placed to allow the fistula to drain and as a measure before a definitive surgery is done.
Discuss with your doctor about the need for surgery.
