C Diff Sufferer without a colon

I have recently been diagnosed with C. Diff and am taking medicine for that.  The thing is, my entire colon was removed seven years ago.  I now have a J-pouch, and have had several bouts of pouchitis.  What can you tell me about C. Diff. for those of us who do not have a colon?

Cdiff can infect the pouch and manifest as pouchitis.
Though Cdiff infection commonly affects colon, it can also affect the small bowel (though rare)especially in those who have had their colon removed.
