my grandma is 95 and has C-diff they are treating it with flagyl but she seems to only get bad diarrhea over night. Is that normal and is there anything I can do to help her at night?

Hi tricey,
Sometimes resistance to flagyl (metronidazole) develops. In these circumstances, other medications can be tried. Vancomycin is the one that is proved equally good.
Discuss with your physician regarding this option.
