Colitis / Crohns and ulcers in my throat

I have been out of hopsital a week after 6 days on intravenous antibiotics, due to infections and inflammation.  I am still not 100 % and have to go back on the 9th march.  I had these ulcers down my throat before I went in and still have them thinking they will go away, not sure wether to let my GP know feel silly bothering him if its nothing.  I had a right hemi-colectomy 16 mths ago and the consultant suggests its come back on the left but will not do a colonoscopy until things have settled down.  The way I am at the moment I dont think I will get any better than this until hes been inside to have a look.  It feels like there is something either in my bowel or outside, it hurts when I go to the Loo, bring my left leg up or bend down, and its goes into my back. (Scanned kidneys all ok, and gynea stuff ok).  Constipated for days then loose for days. Have had some mucose stuff since I've been out but think it could be my antibiotics, as I had to continue them orally. Am back at work but feel absolutely washed out as I dont want any more time off.

Hi,
Colonospy would be ideal to find the cause. Since you had been on antibiotics also for sometime, the possibility of C-diff infection causing cramps and loose stools is also there. Stool test may be done to diagnose it.
If it is c-diff a course of metronidazole would be helpful.
