Colitis and hypertension after surgery

I had colitis for 3 years had the surgery and now have the pouch.  It's been 2 years since my surgery and within the last 6 months my blood pressure has been running high 140-150/80-90ish anyone else else experience this?  my doctor doesn't seem concerned but at 27 yrs old it's awfully high.

Hi,
The systolic blood pressure is high. It has to tested again. If it is persistently high then you need medications. Salt restriction should also be done.
But it is not related to your colitis or the surgery.
