Constipation since eating solids

My son has had constant constipation since he was eating solids and a few problems when having milk before solids. he has been on all medications to make it easier but nothing has really helped. he has recently had two enemas done and strong laxatives to remove the blockages he keeps building up. he has a healthy diet but never gains proper weight,tired alot,poor appetite. I have been told to look into hirschsprung disease but so far the doctors haven't bothered looking into it??? Need help!! My son is now nearly 5yrs old.

Hi,
The possibilities are  Hirschsprung disease, hypothyroidism and functional constipation.
Barium enema and thyroid function test may be done for evaluation.
Good potty training is also important.
Give him high fiber diet, plenty of fluids and stool softeners.
