Crohn's?? Colitis?? IBS??

Hello, I'm a 28 year old female and 6 months ago I had my 2nd baby. Five weeks after having my baby I noticed blood in my stool. It continued on and off for 3-4 months and finally stopped when I changed my diet to more fruits and veggies and fiber rich foods.
Now I have not had any blood in stool for 3 weeks but in these 3 weeks I've had 3x a greenish stool and the lower right side of my abs hurts sometimes, especially when I wipe. I have also been a little nauseated in the past 5-7 days or so (on and off, not all day) and I've had headaches which I usually never do.
I don't know if any of my symptoms are related but that's all the issues I have and I thought I'll mention them. Does anyone have any suggestions and to what it could be?? I'm a little worried but I got laid off few months ago and don't have health insurance to  go check myself out. I don't know what to do.
Thanks!

Hi,
The bleeding you had could have been due to hemorrhoids - which improved with high fiber diet.
The recent nausea, abdominal pain and loose stools could be due to gut infection. These symptoms are in fact nonspecific and can occur in IBD like Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis also.
IBS is unlikely as the duration is too short to diagnose it and bleeding per rectum rules out IBS.

Hi!  I recently had a baby 2 months ago.  I got sick immediately after he was born.  I was severely nausious and had increased diarrhea (20-30 times a day).  I was stubborn and refused to get checked out because I have had 2 other babies and thought it would go away,,,well 6 weeks after my baby was born I ended up paralyzed, I could only move my eyes for 2 days straight. I ended up in the hospital with severe dehydration and with a potassium level of 1.8 (normal is 3.6)  With chron's dehydration is something to take very seriously!  I too lost my insurance and worry about the bills,, but if your symptoms dont go away you should really get checked out,,, the bill will have to wait,, your baby needs his or her mommy!  I learned my lesson this last time and will never be stubborn again I thought I was dying!  So please be carelful!
