Endoscopy

I have recently had a endoscopy and am waiting for the results from biopsy.  When sent home from hospital I was groggy and didn't get to look at the pictures of the procedure.  However, after looking at them I noticed a white blotch in the picture from the stomach.  The doctor said via the phone that it was just a light reflection from the scope but you can tell by the picture that it is definitely not.  Could it be food or something from the night before or it is something that I should really be concerned about? Did the doctor overlook it? Am I being a hypocondriac or should I look into this more?

Hi zing43,
It is difficult to give my opinion without seeing the images.
But as your doctor has said, light reflection from the scope sometimes cause confusion while looking at the pictures taken.
But your doctor would have seen that part of the gut while performing endoscopy and this confusion does not occur while performing endoscopy.
