Infectious Diarrhea 8yr some blood

My daughter started with a fever yesterday over 102 and very liquid diarrhea.  Continued today, went to doctor, he diagnosed her with Infectious diarrhea.  Got home, she now shows some pinkish liquid when she wipes along with some mucus.  Called doctor, he says to wait until tomorrow to get a stool sample.  Her bowel movements went from every 3-2 hrs. to every 30-45min.  So bad she soiled her bed.  Anything besides liquids and diet to help her sleep through the night?  Should I give her any Imodium (immodium)?  Should I go to the ER?  Thanks for your help!

Hi,
You need to continue with the medication prescribed by her doctor.
Dont use imodium (immodium) for infectious diarrhea.
If she is dehydrated or having high fever you need to take her to ER.
