J-Pouch with CEA23 - Doctors say ok???????

My son had J-pouch over 10 years ago - he is very concerned that his CEA is 23 - and after seeing local GI - and tests
they cannot find anything wrong - He almost died with Ulcerative Colitis after the  Doctor let it go too long and is concerned again that something is very wrong - - his GI Doctor in Baltimore has retired - my GI Doctor in DC has moved - I have read that there is a higher CEA count due to the UC - and he says he is really hurting.  I suggested an oncologist due to the CEA factor -  Doctors he has seen recently about this are concerned about the CEA23 - but tests showed nothing - so Doctors have accepted that - my son can't - HELP

High CEA could be due to malignancy and UC can lead to malignancy.
Colonoscopy may be done for evaluation.
