Can someone please help me with paraesophageal hernia:

-Causes
-How it is shown radiographically
-Treatment options/prognosis.

Hi,
Paraesophageal hernia is a type of hiatal hernia.
Symptoms -
It can be asymptomatic. It can cause pain after taking food, early satiety ( feel content with lesser quantity of food), abdominal bloating, anemia, bleeding and reflux.

Causes -
The cause is unknown.

Radiographic finding-
Air fluid level in the posterior mediastinum as seen in chest xray.Barium studies may show the hernia

Treatment option -
Surgery
