Upper left abdomen pain

I've had my Spleen revomed 19 years ago and for the past year or so I keep having pain in that area. I had a two CAT scans and my family Doctor keeps telling me that there is nothing wrong but I keep having pain. I don't know what to do next. Can some one direct me in the right direction?
Thank you.

The pain could last from ten minutes an hour. it depends what I am doing. It doesn't wake me up but it does start to hurt when I'm sitting. the only thing that helps is that I have to sit up straight and lean to my right. I don't think that anything has changed with my bowel habits but I have never been consistent.
