about the spleen

I had a catscan and had a mass in the middle of my spleen so my spleen was removed on Monday March 2, 2009 and since the surgery I have been so nausea everything else is great.  I called the Doctor and he told me to take Dramamine which as not touch the nausea.  Not sure if this matters however I did have a hard time waking up from the surgery.  Any suggestion.  The three small cuts are doing great really no pain unless I cough.

Hi,
Nausea can be expected during the recovery phase after surgery. It could also result from the medications you take after surgery.
