bleeding and pain while defecating

i am exp. pain and bleeding while defecating, i had a colonoscopy and endoscopy and came out fine, the blood is bright red, what does this mean?

Hi,
It could be due to anal fissures.
Stool softeners and topical medications to relieve pain will be helpful. Sometimes surgery might be required.
Anoscopy will reveal this lesion lower down in the anus.
