I had my gall bladder removed the 9th of Apr., but I have also had ulcerative colitus for 35 years.  I was told by the surgeon  that this will happen for a few days then you should go back to "normal".  Since then I have had many people tell me it lasted longer than a week (after the gall bladder was removed).  Give it time then contact your surgeon or a gastroenterologist.   aar1151
