colon issue

I am a 32 yr old male. I have high blood pressure, high chelesterol, type 2 diabetes, Gerd, and mental health  disorders, well anyways, about three years ago my grandfather dies from his colon rupturing not sure any more info. But 1 to 2 months after he passed I was hospitalized with severe colon swallen and stuff. I was told it was diverticulitis. They did a colonoscopy and then I was discharged two days later, I saw the gastro doctor that did the colonoscopy and he said he did not see anything. Over the years I have had continued adm pain on the right that will put me in a fetal postion and send me to the ER. They give me morphine, do blood work and possible CT, everything comes back fine except for the white blood cells are elevated and my colon is inflamed. They all say that I have some kind of infection or something going on in my ct readings cause my colon walls are getting thicker and thicker, I always have loose to watery stools and at least two times a week after a bowel movement the toilet paper is covered in bright red blood. I am seeing a new gastro doctor now and he has scheduled me for a complete colonoscopy with biopsies and with anastethia. My questions are:

1) How serious does this sound?
2) possible disorders?
3) treatment options?
4) worst possible outcome?
5) other test?

Hi,
Bleeding per rectum with abdominal pain could be due to IBD, infectious colitis, ischemic colitis, intususception.
I would suggest repeat colonoscopy with biopsy for further evaluation.
