concern

Hi, I need to know what is going on with me. I had my gallbladder removed in 2007 and had a baby in 2008 and now I am gaining weight, everytime I eat I get a stinging/burning feeling on my upper right central abdomin (abdomen). It does not cause any major pain but it persists and goes to my upper right back at times. When I go to lay down there are times it feels very hard and does bother me a little. I started a "Daniel's Fast" diet on Monday and have noticed I lost weight but the pain is still there even though I have cut out all grease, sugar, breads and caffeine! Please help.

I would suggest that you undergo an upper GI endoscopy to rule out acid peptic disease.
Prilosec may be taken for relief.
