My husband began taking Clindomycin for a skin infection and has developed severe gastritis.  I see stomach pain can result but is gastritis a common side effect or could this be casued by something else?

Hi CBVRN,
Gastritis is not a common side effect of clindamycin.
How was it diagnosed that he has severe gastritis?
