my mother is a dialasis patient while in hospital recently contracted ecoli,septic arthritis in her knee,and had bleeding from the bowel ,vomating and generally not well ;after a month in hospital i have her home,she had many blood transfusions and is still on anti biotics would she be able to have good bacteria drink replacements.

Yes she can.
She also has to complete the course of antibiotics to clear the infection.
