intense rectal pain

I was diagnosed with lymphocytiic colitis approx. 10 years ago. Now my symptoms have worstened to the point that I can hardly have my frequent (8+a day) diareah without huge rectal pain. I take4 plus suppositories a day but still the last 8" of my colon feel as though i could die
