right upper quad burning pain radiating to back

i'm having burning pain in my right upper quad under my ribs going straight out my back. it's been continous for about 2-3 weeks. motrin and tylenol don't touch the pain. I've tried heat packs and icey hot no help.I even tried and abdominal binder. i went to the doctor and he sent me for ultrasound of my gallbladder. it was normal. He said i must have pulled something..................i cont. to be in pain very uncomfortable..........what should i do?

Hi,
Burning pain in the right upper quadrant could be due to ulcer disease.
An upper GI endoscopy may be done to diagnose ulcer disease.
PPI may be taken for relief.
