stress related bloody stool
during high stress times, like trying to buy a house, arguing with my wife or lay offs at work, I tend to use the bathroom 4-5 times in a four hour period. The last movement sometimes produces a quarter size spot of blood that sinks to the bottom. And it's in my first stool the following day. It all seems  to clear up and go away as soon as the stress is relieved. Then it all seems to clear up for a couple months...then happens again when the stress returns...any suggestions? This is not an everyday occurance.

Hi,
Stress by itself does not cause blood in stool. But it may worsen a preexisting condition.
Colonoscopy may be helpful to find out the cause.
