treatment for colitis with apthus ulcer and proctitis

in  2008 i had a colonoscopy with biopsy , the findings were "normal ileum, colon scattered with mild proctitis , apthus ulcer and subacute erosion at rectum. internal hemorrhoids grade was seen. otherwise unremarkable up to terminal ileum" copied from doctor papers as written. as a result the doctor gave me a ciproflaxacin antibiotic treatment , it made me real sick and finally after 7 days of torture i had it changed to another one ( can't remember the name ) , i had some hemorrhoids banding done and i was ok for a year , now i am back to square one, blood in the stool or anytime, swelling of the abdomen, flatulences, pains , constipation and diarrhea, hemorrhoids..ect...oh i also have some heart burns at the moment , that's new..
should i do another colonoscopy ? is an anti-biotic a good thing or should i take anti-inflammatory instead like sulfasalazine , aminosalicylate.
should i start by a blood test to check the level of inflammation ? a feces test to make sure i don't have a virus ? i live in Thailand after all.
i suspect i have ulcerative colitis , 20 years of it , i have lived with it but maybe i can do something about it before it turns sour like cancer of the colon for instance.
any infos , advices will be very appreciated
thank you in advance

Hi,
If symptoms persist I would suggest another colonoscopy . Biopsy  needs to be done for evaluation.
