I am 22 I wish to have a baby really bad I have been to my drs and Now i have to go and see a new dr one that can help me with what I have. I have Cirrhosis of the Liver.And Autoimmune Hepatitis. I have been well foe almost 2 years.I just want to know when can heppen if I was to get pregnant would it be safe. as of right now my liver leves are good and I do go and get them look at. can anyone tell me if it would be good and what can happen to be if i was to get pregnant . would it or culd it kill me.???

Hi,
Women with cirrhosis often have menstrual cycles without ovulation or they may not have menstrual periods at all, limiting their chances of becoming pregnant.

So consult your gynecologist regarding your mesntrual cycles and check whether you have normal ovulation .

If you have normal ovulation, then there are many other factors like portal hypertension which will decide the outcome.
