yellow stool

dear dr,
4 month ago i found my stool yellow coloured,i did serum sGpt it was 32 but lab refrence for was 31
ALP was 76 lab ref up to 120
billirubin total 0.4mg/dl,haemoglobin 11.5
iam breastfeeding my baby which is 5 months now ,iam conct on milk &dairy products to inc calcium intake but iwas so when pregnant but it didnt affect my stool
about my feeding habits iam semivegetarian,i wanna tell also that it sometimes returns to its normal brown colour,but very rarely and my urine colour is normal
iam asking if irritable bowel can do so coz iam irritable anxious person and what to do?

Hi,
If you have pale stools and the urine is normal and you dont have symptoms like jaundice, itching, then there is no need to worry.
If it is pale, bulky, offensive then it may indicate malabsorption.
