Abdominal Lump

IWhat do you think sice I'm a Male of 50 what the most likely cause is. Hane A small lump 6-8 inches Above Navel Which seems to come and go but layely is more regular.

Hi there.

There are several structures in this area that can give rise to this phenomenon.  First, this can be due to unusual fat organization and subcutaneous rearrangements that can be a consequence of natural ageing (aging) or breakdown of connective tissues.  Other organs in this area would include the stomach, part of the liver, the pancreas, and the large bowel.
Any problems regarding these organs can lead to this presentation which can be tumors, liver enlargement or bowel obstruction.

As there can be a number of possibilities, it is best to have this looked at by your doctor to narrow down the options.
