Add on to previous post bile reflux or vomiting

Hi, i forgot to mention that the doctors said that after his first opperation to remove the cancer of the bowel, he may have had this thing where his organs dont wake up for a while after the operation, possibly called ileus, but they did'nt mention anything about this after the second operation to fix the twist in this intestine. Also during the second operation they did a swab and found that he might have a bug which stops his wound from heeling. He is on penicillen for this. I think the surgen also took out my dads appendix.

After reading lots of other peoples post, i think my dad maybe vomitting bile for years to come. But this maybe caused by either, another twist/kink in the intestine, maybe he has stones or sludge spilled into the bile duct during surgery. A bile leak. SOD Sphincter of Odd Dysfunction or still has ileus.

I read a very interesting post about how to stop the bile vomitting, this was the only one i found, but was from someone who had left hospital and was eatting. They suggested that any acid blocking medication makes problems worse (I'm not sure if my dad is on any acid blocking medication), but by stopping the medication, you would be fine for 12 hours but then go through a day of intense pain but would then feel better.

Any help on how i can get my dad to feel better and out of hospital, would be great, thanks.
